There's only one vendor of raw milk at our local farmers market (technically it's illegal here in Ohio) and we've bought from her several times. I like it but the kids prefer the pasteurized.
Great piece, Lisa. I love the bottle and the ‘cream on top’ description -- reminds me of childhood when the milkman would leave glass bottles in an aluminum box on the stoop in the pre-dawn hours.
Preach it, Lisa! Nothing beats whole, cream top milk. We drink it plain and make yogurt and kefir.
Have you done the raw milk thing, Lynn?

They’re actually trying to make it legal to buy in a retail setting here. It’s legal to purchase from the farmer directly.

Thank you, Jolene! Those days seem long-gone, but I did use Oberweis for delivery for a while... Do you still get milk delivery?
No, just buy at the store -- delivery was only in my childhood! :)
I’m working on a raw milk source.
