A few additional ideas. We insultated our pipes. We did a blog post on it, but it didn't come across in the transfer to substack. Ellen points out two other things that we've done that are super helpful - curtains and silicon windstops behind outlets and switches on exposed walls. I've reduced the number of showers I take from one a day to about two a week, but I supplement the showers by washing my hair in the sink.

We are planning to caulk, but that is still a work in progress.

We have thick curtains, including a large panel for the slider door. If you extend the curtain rod a few inches beyond the window frame then the thick curtains do not obscure the view when open. We also picked up wind stopping inserts that go behind light switches and outlets. These help!
