So when I was doing the sprouting, i had a three tier framr that would hold three of the trays you find in hydroponic store 1β by 3β and the three of the standard 1x1 trays that you find starter trays in when buy flowers tomato plants etc so the trays are 1x1 and have holes so water passes, spreading a layer of Niger sunflower seed you find at feed store to feed birds, then put another 1x1 tray over top and put a few stones etc to hold it down. I then used a hydroponic pump to pump water to top and cascade down the other two trays into a reservoir at bottom, put on timer to keep well watered depending on temperature and humidity. I would add some sea salt to water just for minerals, and a bit of peroxide helps keep water fresh, so in one week you have 9 1x1 trays and they all sprouted evenly as they push the trays on top up and can be removed on last day or two to allow all to green up. Quickly done here lmk if itβs clear
How great you found something that doesnβt cause an allergic reaction and is also fun to grow. Memories of growing wheat on cotton wool when I was young.
In the body of the post, all of the sprout seeds are hyperlinked. Here's the one for mixed salad green sprouts, which are Stephanie's favorite: https://amzn.to/49elvEP

Thanks for the reminder. I used to always grow sprouts and then stopped. Not sure why, so I think I need to get back into it. Thank you.
Youβre welcome!
I have a technique for sprouting sunflowers maybe youβre familiar with, using trays and weights to keep all sprouting evenly?
Do tell!
Yesβplease share.

Those sound like great memories, Sally!
great post, I'm game. advice on where to buy seeds? for broccoli, or any.
I buy from small businesses on Amazon! Look for non-gmo, organic and you'll be in good shape!
thank you
Karafree, we linked to a few in the post up above.
I see the resource links, but nothing to seeds, unless they are found within one of the resource links.
