Sue and I had a great little conversation over email when I reached out to her about the win, and she shared with me the below photos she took of her enviable life on Whidbey Island, in the US Pacific Northwest. She’s since been living the glamorous life of the travel writer she is, with an itinerary that includes Jazz Port Townsend, an Amtrak trip past bucolic farmland and the Salish Sea to Vancouver, BC, and two weeks in Europe with the Rick Steves Tour, hitting Poland and Prague. She and her husband, AKA “Farmer Bob,” are celebrating their forty-ninth (!) wedding anniversary.
