What’s happening here? I’d just given the chicks some “treats,” a supplement to their standard chick feed, usually kitchen scraps and/or garden “weeds.” They fought over the bits of red pepper. Since I’ve never seen humans fighting over red peppers, I can only conclude that chicks are smarter than we are. Happy spring!
